Procycles on the East Rand. It was their last Easton bar in stock when I searched for it. S14phoenix on the hub referred me to them. Give them a call, I'm sure they can help

Hi

I have a 2012 Giant Anthem X2 (Alu frame) with a 2 x 10 conversion , a set of Stans Arch ex wheels and an upgraded Fox Talas fork coming in at 12.83kg. So much for carbon softails

Wheels done.

Next up a carbon handle bar. The shops seem to stock very little, online seems best best. Any suggestions on reasonable weight/price combo. Probably looking at around 200g.

Current spec (aiming for something similar):

HANDLEBARS Specialized XC, mini rise, 6000 butted alloy, 8-degree backsweep, 6-degree upsweep, 10mm rise, 31.8mm

I've looked at CWC (very few options) and Evo (lots of options, but expensive). Wouldn't mind keeping it in the R1500 range.

Thanks!

I'd go with the Race Face or Momsen bar from CWC: http://www.cwcycles.co.za/catalog/parts/handlebar-mtb

Within price range and less than 200g. My preference is the Race Face, but the Momsen will be just as good.
