Nice choice and give feed back after you've been on it for a bit, there are a lot of people interested in that ride and it's always good to get real opinions from other hubbers.
Zatek Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 Apparently the Propel (Ultegra DI2) weighs about 7.5 - 7.8kg. If you replace the standard wheels (1840g) and put on Zipps (1250g) or Token T33 (1138g) you can have a sub 7kg bike. You can also replace the crank with a FSA SL-K light crank and save another 200g.
'Dale Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Here is my sort list so far.2014 Propel Advance Ultegra DI 10 speed for R35k.2015 Propel Advance Ultegra DI2 11 speed for R40k2015 Spez Venge Pro Race mech Ultegra 11 speed for R65K If I go Propel I can add stages and ceramic bearings tubby wheelset and ceramic bb but not with Spez.I like the Venge and should I change something that works for me? Bit of a weight penalty with aero bikes, Zatek.Is that a set choice or are you open to other suggestions?
