I've just seen your post about the FSA or Rotor as standard. This might throw a spanner in the works as these cranks run longer spindles than standard PF30 cranks. Thus the Focus might be like the Cervelo's and have wider than standard BB shells.

So the BB solution is not looking viable ? right?

Am I going to have issues with a standard compact crank? Like a shimano 105 11 speed compact crankset?

It could be in terms of $$ but I'd need to see your frame.

If you take time and effort into account buy a new or second compact crankset with a 52-36T ratio.

Edit: make sure it is a hollowtech or Sram gxp or you might have spindle length issues

Any chance I'm going to find one before next weekend? Got a back 2 back planned with some mean hills.... ? Starting to panic here!

I did find a Sora 9 speed compact crankset from Evans cycling but with shipping it's R3500 !!! and won't be in time, need to see if I can source one locally. but then I'm back to buying interim parts before I go 11 speed. So frustrating...

Thats crazy I can get you a brand new one for R1435.00 and ship it anywhere for R160
