Braintrust Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I'm new in-country and need to buy a bike in Johannesburg - can anyone recommend some stores? Specs: am looking for a basic, entry level bike that I can use on road mostly, but some off road capability. I'm no expert, more a recreational bike user and willing to spend in the R5000 - R10,000 range. Any ideas folks?

Baracuda Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Aside from trying to find something in the classifieds section here, Tony Impey Cycles in Bedfordview is great. Owned and managed and really good advice. (not the specialized shop in Bedfordview, they a bunch of muppets).
