Shimano Tandem Axle?

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement Shimano tandem axle (10 mm diameter, 155mm length)?

I import a lot of tandem hubs but yours is the first axle I've heard of that broke.

May I suggest you try harriscyclery.com. They'll know what you're talking about (the web site is a bit iffy like mine, but put a request on there and someone will get back to you). They'll ship chop-chop.

 

In the meantime, tell us how your axle broke. Also, if you think it only bent, do this experiment and report back to us: block the hole on one of the sides. Immerse it in water and blow. Tell us what happens.
