Edge 1000 mount

Hey peeps,

 

2 weeks ago I purchased a second hand Fuji Newest 2 off Bike Hub as I want to dabble in road bikes every now and again (MTB boy this side).

Then last week I picked up an Edge 1000 here on Bike Hub (replacing the 500).

 

I am having a problem mounting it on my Fuji though. There is just not enough space to twist the 1000 into place using the stock mount that came with it.

 

I did a quick Google and see the K-edge pro xl seems to do the job. Not finding any local stores that sell it though.

 

Does anyone have a trick or tip for me to get this thing securely mounted? Or perhaps a retailer in Edenvale, Gauteng that sells the k-edge?

 

Any assistance appreciated.
