HEIDELBERG 236.4km 5thCONTROL DEVON 286.8km 6thCONTROL GREYLINGSTAD 349.2km 7thCONTROL DEVON 411.6km 8thCONTROL NIGEL 464.6km 9thCONTROL DENEYSVILLE 517.9km10thCONTROL THREE RIVERS 552.5km FINISH LIDO HOTEL 604.6km Open: Saturday 22h00/Sunday 18h00. The Control at Greylingstad will be provided with mattresses and a meal will be available.Your own bedding and a bag (not more than 10kg in weight) will be transported from the Start to the Control.The cost of the above will be R120 over and above the entry fee of R130.ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER 20TH NOVEMBER AND MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PROOF OF PAYMENT.
Dee1 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Doing my first Audax on Sunday (200km). Longest ride done in one day is 116km.Apprehensive, unprepared? was last on my bike at CTCT 2 weeks ago... did do a 90mins spinning class this morning :-) Any tips? (will take taxi money)

There's generally quite a varied group of riders, so you should find a bunch that suits. If you're working too hard, especially in the first 100km drop off and catch the next bunch. The riders tend to look after each other, so even if you get into difficulty, the bunch should wait for you. The course tomorrow is pretty flat, besides the climb out of Balfour at about 85km in. Enjoy! Hope to meet you tomorrow.
