Disc brake adapter advise

I need to convert a KHS Alite 2000 from V?s to disk.  My question here is about the frame mount.

To weld or not to weld on an aluminium bracket?

Has anyone had experience with bolt on disk brackets? If so are they available in SA?

Front suspension should not be a problem as they use standard fittings, there may be a ISO mount or a post mount depending on the type of shock fitted. The KHS distributers or disk manufacturers should be able to advise.

 

What model is your frame as the 2006 has disks fitted or place a pic of your rear dropouts on the disk side ie the opposite side of the cassette derailleur.
