Whats the best sat nav to use on this race ?

I used a Garmin 510 and was Ok.

 

You load the course and you can navigate like that. The 810 has maps, so is a bit more advanced.

 

Waypoints are not loaded with the course (except water points), but it does tell you which way to turn. We did take a wrong turn once because we didn't get a warning before the intersection, but it quickly sounded the alarm and we were off in the right direction.
