Dgas Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I am busy entering races for next year (The Fast One, Berg n Dale, Ride for Sight, etc. Up to now I have been riding in the Open categories, for 2016 I would like to start racing with the vets, is it correct to assume that to race in the vets groups I have to have a CSA Licence? It is R 575 for the licence etc. So do I really need one? Or can I purchase one with the entry, same as when entering open seeded?
V12man Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Yes - you need a different licence to the open groups to race in the Vets groups - you used to be able to buy day licences, but there were limits on how many you could get in a year - not sure if they still exist.
