This exciting event will take place from 18 to 21 March 2016 in and around the beautiful town of Clocolan in the Free State. The event will cater for all levels of expertise by providing different routes and distances to select from. The organizers will also provide a category for U/16 and U/18 to compete in their respective age groups over 4 stages. Who,When,Where?Who: The race is for theentire family. (SCHOOL HOLIDAY STARTS) 5-6KM Run• Stage 1: Saturday 19th route. 40-45KM Cycle• Stage 2: Sunday the 20th route. 10-12KM Run• Stage 3: Monday the 21st (PUBLIC HOLIDAY) 35-40KM Cycle The real deal…In 2016 riders will be treated to a great time at the race village in Clocolan. The annual fair falls on the same date as the race. This promises to provide loads of things to do for spectators and families during and after the the race.During the race we will have a tour guide and maps to the water points, so that parents, spectators and families can visit the designated points and enjoy parts of the race.Race registration will be on the 18th of March from 13:00 at the Clocolan Show grounds (Race village).Racing starts at 18:00 on the 18th. Make sure to bring your lights.Stage’s 1-3 will all start at 08:00 from the Race village. Riderswill have a route briefing 10 minutes before each stage. For the kids…On Saturday we will have a kids race around the race village.All Riders welcome.
