I might just be late to the show but Google just asked me if i wanted to download the bikehub app

 

And now have a bikehub.co.za app on my homescreen and app in my scroll

I also never new there was an app, is it available on iOS? I don’t see it in the App Store

It's just a shortcut to the website. No app available as far I know.

It's not a native app that you'd find in the app stores. It is a Progressive Web App (PWA) which still runs in your browser although it looks and acts more like an app than a webpage.

Things you should notice with the PWA:

1) An icon on your phone "desktop"
2) Full screen mode (like an app)
3) Notifications on your phone like an app (which might require a few more permission to be enabled. We have a guide on doing that here.)
