Hi. I am looking to buy an entry level bike to start out with. I have seen a used Titan Peak 29er that I can get for R3000. I have tried researching it but the only place it comes up on is Sportsman Warehouse site. It does not even appear on the Titan catalogue. Does anyone have any info on this bike and if it is worth getting?

Hey there. I think you'll get the same answer that hubland has been dishing out.

 

Buying an entry level bike is probably more hassle than it's worth - you'll hate the experience and it will cost more in the long run.

 

My first bike was a R1700 rigid steel bike, within the first 3 months i had the shifters replaced.

 

General advice will be to check out second hand options or test out if you're really into riding by renting.
