Dries V Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Hi All, Returned from a trip to Breede to find that my top two bikes had been stolen from my house in St James. Strange as only things missing appear to be the two bikes and a helmet - left behind TV's and stuff. Clearly comrades keen to make a quick exit, or planning on a late Argus entry... Anyway, in the forlorn hope that someone, somewhere might spot a dodgy looking character on a high end bike, here's a description: 1. Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2 2015: White with red trim, Shimano Ultegra di2, SellaItalia saddle, Shimano Durace wheelset. 2. Specialized Epic 29'er 2011: White with Red Trim. Shimano XTR group set - 3 Platter X 9. White Specialized Phenom saddle. Carbon rims. If anyone spots either of these bikes on the road or perhaps in a second hand shop I would be most grateful if you could contact me - both bikes many miles and events under the saddle and would be a real gift to get either back - I would certainly pay more than a dealer to recover them! Bianchisti Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Ouch. Sorry to hear. How about everyone of us who have a bike chip in for an investigator so we can try and understand what is undoubtedly a very sophisticated syndicate and it's operations?
