Cyril Spence from JHB also beat me with his first run, but since the above article is in relation to the National series, I in theory managed a 2nd as Cyril & Craig Paul both crashed in their 2nd race runs. CSA has pretty much axed DH so to keep costs down 2 regional events from the Western Cape and 2 regional events from KZN double up as National events, which can make things quite confusing. So to clarify the regional event (in KZN) is based on the best of 2 race runs. The national event only uses your 2nd race run for the national series so my consistency worked for me here.
