11 spd deraileurs for 10 spd

Anyone tried to use an 11 spd derailleur to improve shifting of 10 spd? I have been riding 1x10 for years and am very comfortable with a 30 ring with an 11/36 cassette. The new SRAM 11 spd derailleurs look like a hugely improved design and way stiffer. Could they improve 10 spd shifting?

With the 11 spd derailleurs SRAM has moved away from the 1:1 actuation to something called X-Actuation, so I doubt that their 11 spd derailleurs will work with 10 spd.
