Bizkit031 Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 @KingTJ One of the reasons is ... our sponsors work a half day on Saturday ... and would also like to ride - so they actually asked for it to start at noon - but we said no .... so we compromised with 11am ... This gives a lot of people time to get there from work, or school on a Saturday ... we did it before and tried early starts but you loose a large chunk of your rider base. It might not be so bad in Winter Nigel but in summer it's insane to start at 11

Either we do what they ask .. or next year we have no funding and therefore no series .... I agree it would be better - but this is the best compromise for riders and then sponsors alike ... Too much to the right and it a bit of a drop into the reeds... too much to the left and its a tumble into the bushes. No where to dab down a foot if you loose your balance or go off your line.
