Batavus Hybrid, Commuter, or City Bike

Hello all,

 

I have advertised, searched and still cannot find one of these fine bikes sold locally. Does it mean there is no single South African that has one to sell to me?

 

Please help me if you can! Am 'dieing' to own at least one!

 

Ok, the Bike is:

 

1. Batavus- E bike

 

Or

 

2. Gazelle Easy Glider also an e bike.

 

Please someone help me to own this, even if I have to import one.

I'm afraid you will have to be lucky and find someone in the Dutch community who has one. I can only imagine a hardcore fellow Dutchie who would put an e-bike like that in a shipping container.

My wife owns a Batavus Torino, but not an E-bike, rather a very old 3 speed internal geared hub version with front and rear lights and a luggage rack on the back, a beautiful piece of kit as well!  It needed some repairs done on the internal gears and I had to ask a mate who was going to Amsterdam to get me the parts I needed, so bear that in mind!

Ha ha! Hi, You never know. Someone in SA might just have one almost forgoten and willing to sell to me.

Hello Thanks for responding, unfortunately Am looking for a newer version. You can see these newer versions are nicely accrssorised. Regards Dominic
