Group rides near Dunkeld/Parkhurst (road)

Hi,

 

I'm from the Netherlands and moved to Johannesburg last year. I started to miss the cycling I used to do in the Netherlands and therefore decided recently to move my bike as well.

 

Are their any groups I could join to get used to cycling in South Africa?

 

I'm looking to do a ride in the weekend (2-3 hours) and one during the week (1-2 hours).

Welcome to Sunny South Africa.

 

There are a few groups that ride from that area. Stop in at Dunkeld Cycles and ask them.

 

I kniw that there is a morning ride at 05h00 on Wednesdays a Friday ride at 05h15. Both from the circle at the Craighall vet.

 

It all depends on the pace you want to ride....

There are groups leaving leaving from the Dunkeld/Craighall area (as mentioned above). 5am start.
