MTB baggies for big people

I already have 3XL bibs (both full, and short types) which suits me perfectly (thanks to Anatomic).

 

However, there are times that I want to ride with baggies but cannot find a 3XL or bigger anywhere (I am a size 45 with same-sized legs, thanks to being an ex-forward rugby player for a long while).

 

Bought once a 5XL baggie from overseas and almost did a complete Hulk-shred-clothes when I tried to put it on ("wattehel soort 5XL model het die mense oorsee gebruik om 'n 5XL broek te maak?")

 

Any advice?

Was a lock so not quite so as big leg wise as a front row prop, I found a pair of Fox baggies that fit quite loose.

Have you tried Indola - think Solomon's sell them or get online

Thanks, Scotty. Where can I find Fox baggies? Any recommended dealer in the Western Cape?

 

On 2nd thoughts, most shops probably only stock M or XL Fox baggies, so I will have to find out who is Fox's distributor and ask them directly?

Thanks, Rob. I was in contact with them and they said that their 3XL will fit me but in order to get an item to try on, I need to order one online first. If it does not fit, they will reimburse me.

 

However, what had me in doubt is that they mentioned their 3XL that will fit a 42-44 and from my own "painful" experience, a company's size dimensions is rarely the expected size when tried on.

 

I don't like this online / postage method as it is too time-consuming and involves extra costs for postage. Still awaiting an answer from them if they have a place which I can visit and try their products.

 

 

That said, I am also trying to find out from other BikeHubbers if there is other options.

I've got Indolas..... and if I was being honest, I'd advise you to get the specialized baggies first. Spend the extra couple of hundreds on the specialized baggies...... and yes.... I'm a big guy.
