Silverback Stride 20 26" VS Specialized Sprint 650B

I'd like to upgrade from my Silverback. 

Would jou consider the Specialized an upgrade?

 

Bought the Silverback 6 moths ago via Bikehub (brand new - R3600) but the Large frame feels a bit big for me and looks a bit funny with its 26" wheels to my opinion.

 

I've found an ad for a brand new Specialized Sprint 650B with Medium frame for R5000,00. 

 

I am 176m tall. According to Specialized charts it will be a good fit.

 

What I want to know is... apart of above preferences, will this be a better bike as well? (links are just for comparison)

Forgot to mention:  Main uses are 30% road cycling and 70% trail rides. I don't do heavy downhill but I do like bumpy trails.

Hi and welcome to Bike Hub. Had a quick look and it looks like the main benefit will be hydraulic disc brakes vs cable disc brakes. Makes a big difference in stopping power and hydraulics need a lot less TLC to keep working at their optimal level.

 

I'm sure someone else will be able to chip in as well.
