VR IDT?

Currently use a Tacx Flow but was considering a IDT with a bit more info and variety. Any views on the VR trainer route and available options, incl price?

Not worth the money I have a flow aswell and it does it job for the hr/hour and a half I am on it. You dont need to spend more time on them than that, do a goood session of intervals or similar and be done.

 

R6000 + for a VT that you are indoors anyway going nowhere and you soon realise that and wish you didnt spend the cash.

I am a keen Tacx fan but indoor training becomes a grind (no fereewheeling allowed).

Bit tired of Alp De Huez and Tour of Flanders route - they get no easier and the same old bikeys are on the route every day!

I am keen on the internet competition software that people have mentioned.

This allows you to compete against your buddies.

Anyone have experience?

Thx C - any idea how accurate the power meter is on the Flow ?? (I use it purely as a reference point for improvement etc)

I would presume its pretty accurate, I know what I can push out etc from tests every now and again that I get done and they are similiar readings.
