Chris NewbyFraser Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 When trying to find a new tandem crankset recently, I found that there is nobody in SA who 'focuses' on tandems. Eben at West Rand Cycles is seemingly the best source of info but if you want parts in SA - look to other countries. Which is what I did. After scrabbling through the web, I found two superb support shops. These are:JDTandems in England and Tandemseast in Eastern USA. Both are dedicated tandem shops and are very helpful.
Chris NewbyFraser Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 Fire Ex with external bearing cups. 175/170 set up. The rings were geared toward the higher end (26/36/48) so I will put on my older 22/32/44 as we fossils just cannot push big gears.
