I'm doing the 24 with a mate of mine.

what's the longest ride you've done before?

The key to solo is pacing it properly, if you think it's too fast then it's already too late. That being said, if you can handle a 4hr ride the a 6 shouldn't be too tough

Yup my longest has been about 6 odd hours, but usually come in around 4 hours 3,30 on my training rides every weekend,  What I am more concerned about is the feeding, is there a station, do I leave my supplies there or should i  just camel pack it and have my supplies on hand. shot bud! See you there, are you camping?

I always carry some food on me, so camelbak it. Also depending what you use, I use racefood, which are the size of a matchbox, and eat 1 per hour on the 45min mark and your drink should give you the rest of the carbs necessary. So carrying 6 bars/gels etc in your camelback shouldn't be a issue.

Heres the event page on FB:

....

Free Coffee station till 22h00 at Night, Opens @ 6h00 on the 27th
Food Available till 22h00 at Night.

Supplement table at the cross-over point.
Bathrooms and hot Showers available for all riders.
Charging Station for lights and Phones etc.

Requirements
Be Self sufficient( no electricity points in Campsite)
Responsible for your own lighting for both your bike and Campsite.

....

Edit - We def camping
