Thanks.

I'm also using Sram chains on my 1 x 11. Look after cassettes and chain rings (all Sram) very well but I still cannot get more than 1500km's per chain!!!

Frustrating indeed when I check with the Parktool....

How old is your chain checker?

Shew, had it for many years. Its the Parktool CC3.2

According to Parktools website, they recommend changing the chain when the 0.5% side fits in on 11 and 12 speed chains??

Maybe look at getting a new one. The checker also wears off after a while.

Ive been using the 75% mark without issues otherwise i wouldve had to replace chains after one weeks worth of riding...

Thanks a mil.....

Ive got the CC2 one - That one can give incorrect readings of not inserted correctly.

About 6 months ago I bought the CC3.2 just to double check  my readings. I've found that the CC2 which is also about 4 years old gives a more worn reading than the newer one.

Exactly, just checked on a mates CC-2 as well and finding the same thing. Shows more wear than CC3.2!

0.75% on CC3.2 no where near fitting in at the moment so gonna stick to your method from now on.

Cheers
