Anyone had ischial bursitis?

Anyone had a lump in their ischial area? The last 3 months i've been struggling with a sore butt. Especially going down to sit or when standing up. It felt like my right sitting bone was longer than the left. Havent been riding the last month and today I noticed a lump in that area about the size of an egg. Going to the gp tomorrow. Any one had the same? What was the treatment etc. Recommendations?

 

Any good specialist in Centurion or Pta area that knows about cycling related problems?

A buddy of mine had it a couple of months ago. I don't know when he was last active on The Hub, but I'll ask him for some feedback.

 

Usual treatment is coritizone. If that doesn't help they can remove it.
