Hi, I'm new to mountain biking and have only been riding for the past 2 months. I live in The Reeds and would like to do a ride of plus minus 40km-50km in length on weekends where its generally off-road. Does anyone in the area have any suggestions?

Cheers

Gavin

Big red barn (I don't want to post a link here but you can google it). A lot of options there for different skill levels, up to roughly 30km of trail. But depending on where you live exactly you can do about a 60km loop from your house to big red barn, doing the trails there, and then back home. The trails at big red barn are in pretty good condition and very well maintained, lots of people ride there on weekends and it's pretty secure.

A little further away is also Wolwespruit (not exactly in Centurion, but close). About 20km of trails (more technical than the barn), and you can also do about 60km if you do a loop from Centurion to the venue, do the trail, and ride home.

Close(ish) to Centurion is also Northern farms (Muldersdrift) where you can do about 60km of trails, and is less technical than the other two I mentioned. Again, just google these two and you should find their websites :)
