New Kit day (soon)

New year means new kit.

Currently I use the Assos T.Equippe Bib for training and the Cento for racing.

Unfortunately after a little over a years use my training bib has 2 holes opposite each other on the stitching. This has made me wonder what the lifespan is for these bibs and whether it is worth dropping almost 3k on a pair of training shorts every year and a bit.

So What can you guys recommend for training in and racing in. (I like to have a separate short for only racing in)

I don't mind paying a bit more for a product that will offer me absolute comfort, but please keep in mind that lifespan is a crucial factor for me.

For training try the Velotex red label. For racing I would still go with the Assos. How you wash your bibs and with what has a big impact on longevity.

Thanks will look into them.

I handwash with woolite and cold water. Never been in a machine.

Dry them indoors in front of a fan.
