Do not buy the no name brand cheapies, you'll be flushing your money down the drain, after a short amount of useage or 1 or 2 drops they will stop locking or seize etc. I've mistakenly been the recipient of my own expired pepper spray it still burns like a mutha fuga, crazy stuff. Expired or not I just test the stream every few months if it has good pressure I consider it still good to go.
