Beginner Cycling Groups in Seapoint/Greenpoint

Hi there,

 

I'm a beginner cyclist, new to Cape Town, in the process of getting used to cleats, wind, and hills. I'm looking for any groups that do weekend rides and help beginners in these areas, or at least close by. Happy to drive out a bit as well.

Welcome to CT! Your fastest option is to join a formal group through a club or shop in the area that arranges rides. Your best bet to do this informally is to park at the Green Point Virgin Active and keep an eye out for similar groups of people and ask them if you can tag along. Most people who cycle from there, ride to Hout Bay and back which is a very pretty stretch of road to train on!
