Hi Guys,

 

Has anyone used these units for 24hr mountainbike races? I know the enduro motorbike fraternity use them?

 

A lot cheaper than the edge 520/820. Got a heart rate monitor so don't need all the functions which are on all the more expensive models...

I have a 301. Used it for Enduro's and Lesotho rides. Great solid unit. It uses AAA batteries so not sure how long unit will last. Doubt it will go 24 hours. Got basic info into Garmin Connect.

 

But it's really not meant for cycling. I'd look for an older Edge unit. Edge 500 is rock solid IMO.
