Hit and run yesterday opposite garden villiage soccer field

Glad you are okay.

Having been hit before, I know that the shock and 'scare' factor is much worse than a normal crash with similar damage.

 

Just a question.

If he was turning left and you were moving in the opposite direction, then you must have been cycling on the right hand side of the road? Should you not have stopped, as technically you were following pedestrian rules, not road vehicle rules?

MY LEFT = HIS RIGHT . Sorry that i did not clarify this earlier. I was indeed riding on the proper side of the road obeying all rules. I had right of way which he ignored and hence the accident.

 

Thanks so much to each and all for the support and inspiring stories. I hope to get on my bike soon again when im abit more mobile. My 29er suffered abit. Wheels are slightly buckled and i think the steerer is damaged. Havent gotten a chance to do a detailed check yet. If i do choose to do the Argus (which i probably will) I'll be using my roadie so its all good :)
