The second Baleia Wines Mountain Bike Challenge will take place on 9 September 2017 at the Baleia Wines winery just off the N2 outside Riversdale (the home of the Sleeping Beauty, 308km from Cape Town) in the Western Cape.

Come and experience the great wines produced in the Hessequa area and tackle any of the three distances (20km, 40km, 88km) in the picturesque area between the N2 and the Langeberge where luscious green pastures and bright yellow canola fields will be a sight for sore eyes.

Would love to try the 88km....alas with the best event of the year (in terms of tracks) happening on same day (PiketBoBerg), i'll have to give it a miss.

I wonder if event providers check out the existing calendar and look for "best" placing of their respective events....? Just wondering.....so many double bookings :blink:
