I agree that Bert didn't have to chase Porte down aggressively at all.

How great was Pantano today!

If Trek work together with the same cohesion as Sky during the GT's they would be great rival for Sky and Movistar. (With AC,Mollema and Pantano) although Berto likes to do things His own way and not follow a script.

Yah, Pantano was spectacular, they just need another good climber in the team to up the early pace,......... Movistar is packed with great climbers, I think they need to poach one or two.

Maybe do a trade.. Movistar can give some climbers and Trek can give some strong men for the windy stages[emoji6]

Enjoying Matt Keenan's commentary.

Bert looking good. I am hoping that he can pull off a classic Contador heist and take the GC with this attack!

48km remaining from 115.5km

Contador continues to bound his way towards the head of the race. His lead over Henao is now 35 seconds, meaning that he is the virtual race leader.

He kicked several times and ultimately Henao lost touch ????????

Dancing on those pedals

Saw the highlights this morning of yesterday's stage (after the CTCT carnage) and thought that Bert looked to be in better climbing form than Sergio. Figured today would be fireworks. So far so good!
