Frank 84 Posted April 3, 2017 Share My magura MT6 right lever cracked and is unable to hold any fluid, ive been quoted 3k for a new lever, cable and caliper. I was wondering if there was a cheaper way to fix this, or should i spend the 3k on a newish brake set? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jewbacca Posted April 3, 2017 Share CRC sells Shimano levers for 400 zar... the SLX ones a bit more. I have Magura calipers and SLX levers on a bike and they are super. Just make sure that the levers you buy use compatible fluid. Ie. most later Magura and all shimano use Mineral oil while formula and Avid/SRAM use Dot fluid. Mixing those is not going to work.
