Cannondale Scalpel 2010 lefty service

Good day all

 

I recently bought a nth hand Scalpel. Unfortunately the boot has a tear in it and I want to have it fixed asap. I phoned Omnico, but they didn't inspire much confidence as the guy there told me that C'dale are no longer supporting the older models. I will send it to them anyway, but it's a bit frustrating to have to take it to a BS that is just going to send it to Omnico anyway. Any advice on where else I could get some advice/spares/service? Like a South African Mendon?

If Cannondale aren't making them then the independent guys won't be able to get parts either. That said, if you don't come right I have a boot and filter and can do the service for you - the only thing I can't do is a bearing replacement because I don't have the measuring equipment to size the bearing races.

Thanks droo. I've taken my bike to the lbs and they will send the fork to Omnico to service and replace the boot. Will have to work with the bearings I have. Seems these parts are no longer available.

Seems 5 years are the norm to keep parts these days for old models
