Myciti bus lane cycle track

I am wanting to start cycling to work, I will be riding from Century City to the Woodstock myciti bus station. I plan on leaving home at 6.00am to get to work to start at 7.00am. Is this cycle path/track safe that time of the morning? I have seen guys riding this early alone

Hi Keith, we are a commute group that leave Blouberg around 06:45 to arrive in town around 07:30. There has been some mugging incidences unfortunately in the Paarden ieland/Woodstock area on the cycling lane. Best be not to cycle on your own. Send me a pm and I will put you in touch with the group so you can try arrange potential people to meet up with.
