Colnago C60 BB removal

Guys

I have a C60 it has that protective insert on the BB and then on top of that the crank bearings sit, in this case Shimano crank

Question, anyone got experience removing the BB from the C60, do you need to remove the protective cups first or do they stay in place?

And what tool is needed to remove a shimano or 24 mm bearing in this case
