Rolling M Challenge

It’s been a busy few months and we've been putting the final touches to the trails for the inaugural Rolling M Challenge. We're so looking forward to the challenge weekend, and hope to see you there.

 

We’re also very excited that two trail runner superstars are going to be taking on the challenge. Grets Wang (our cousin we’re proud to say) has never been one to shy away from a challenge, and is the 2016 Oxpecker Trail Race champion! And local ‘trail blazer’ Tracy Zunckel is going to be putting the Rolling M trail to the test, and we’re looking forward to see how she can use local knowledge to tame the challenge.

So be sure to follow in their steps if they're ahead of you, and get their 'trail tips' if you see them at the Rolling M homestead before the race.

 

We've also just added a sunset MTB ride on Friday 1st September at 3.30pm for those riders who are able to get to the farm early and are wanting to get a sneak peak preview of the trail.

And if you’re thinking this is all too ‘professional’ for your liking, do not despair! We’re planning some fun activities across the weekend as well, and will be hosting an outride each day where you can take in the wonderful thornveld views from a less energetic vantage on horseback.

Plus, local historian and Boer War aficionado Nicky von der Hyde will be at Rolling M Ranch on the Saturday to share some insights on the lesser-known sieges of the famous Anglo-Boer wars

 

 

The Berg Show will be taking place at the Winterton Country Club that weekend and provides added entertainment for those of you who may enjoy the agricultural attractions. Rumor has it that music sensations The Parlotones will be performing!

So as you can see, it’s not just the runners and riders that will have a busy weekend, we're making sure friends and family can enjoy an action packed event too.
