V12man Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 That is the trick, I don't want to mess up the frame by starting with the wrong grit!!! No idea how to find the correct grit.a bit of aluminium tube and some experimenting will get you close very quickly. I would guess it is between 200 and 400 grit somewhere. Start at the smooth side and work corser otherwise you will have to remove deep scratches - if it's too smooth then it just looks too polished... It's really dead easy as long as you are not in a hurry.
