Garmin Edge 20 and Glonass

With Glonass a GPS device is suppose to be more accurate and acquire satellite faster.

 

When I switch on Glonass on my Garmin Edge 20 it shows very little signal and does not connect.

With gps only it does connect.

 

Do I have a faulty unit?

Googled it. Glonass is a Russian version of GPS. Works better in the Northern latitudes, stick to GPS.
