Scott Speedster S40 vs Raleigh RC6000

Hi everyone,

 

I need some assistance.

 

I used to cycle quite often on a Raleigh RC2000 with a SORA group set, and were doing around 3:30 on races (Satellite, 94.7 etc)

 

Subsequently sold it a few years ago,but want to get back into it now, but with a bit of an upgrade.

 

My budget is around R 4000-R 5000, and have the following options available:

 

Raleigh RC6000 - Shimano 105 Group set

 

Scott Speedster S40 - Shimano Tiagra Group set.

 

Any preference and recommendations would be much appreciated?

Raleigh with 105, very good entry level bike
