I still remember last year on leaving Louis Trichardt on the Sunday morning after the race, we were pulled over by a traffic cop.

 

Full of apprehension I wind down my window as this big traffic cop strolls over. You can imagine our surprise when he proceeds to issue us with breakfast yoghurt and muffins, thanks us for visiting the town and wishes us a safe journey home.

 

Now that is what I call hospitality
