Garmin HR strap/sensor issues

Hi everyone,

 

My Garmin HR soft strap stopped working a few weeks ago and I just cant get it back up and running again. New battery been put in and still nothing.

 

Is there any way to check what part of the unit is faulty, strap sensors, or the sender unit?

 

I don't have access to a spare strap, so cant really check it with one to be sure it's the strap.

 

Anyone fixed a problem like that before?

Have you reset it? Put the battery in backwards for 3 seconds, take it out and replace the correct way. Should be good as new..

Had mine die on me as well.
