Wahoo Element Mini companion GPS not recording

My New Wahoo ELEMNT mini is not recording the GPS for a full ride on the companion app on my Samsung. Done multiple rides and still does not record full ride. Stops mid ride. I don’t know how to fix it. I have tried various options for the GPS on the android device and still does not record fully.

 

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Make sure cell is not on battery saver settings. Also maybe exclude the app from using high battery power

I have done all that, granted permission for location, given it unmonitored app status and even changed GPS to phone only and still it is not tracking the ride fully only doing partial.

Should've gotten a proper Elemnt 

 

But on a serious note, have you contacted the local agents about the issue? They're always very quick to respond and very helpful.
