Sbloomer Posted March 28, 2019 Posted March 28, 2019 I'm trying to find what would be suitable gravel tyres to run on a set of alexrims DC4.5 (I am thinking of buying a set). The outer width is approx 22mm while the inner width is about 15-16mm. From what have read one should not exceed 2x the inner width of the rims. This means I am restricted to about 30mm, which isn't all that wide.
Sbloomer Posted March 29, 2019 Author Posted March 29, 2019 Doing some further digging it seems that bikes sold with these rims were fitted with 2.1" tyres (normally Kenda), so it seems to be fine going up to a 40mm gravel tyre.Any thoughts?
