I had a puncture on my road bike this morning just after the Mooiberge traffic lights along the R44 direction Stellenbosch from Somerset West. I then accidentally snapped the valve extender off the new tube while pumping it up. Face palm moment... no more spare tubes and I could not turn the broken piece of the extender out of the replacement tube's valve stem.

 

A guy and his partner stop to see if I needed any assistance. He landed up giving me his spare tube.

 

Thanks Greg, much appreciated. I'll certainly be paying this forward at the next appropriate opportunity (not that I wouldn't have).
