Yea, you tend to run around quite a bit at the races.

At some XCO races I've clocked around 22km for the day, walking!

I am in the process of finalizing material for a Sports/Action Photography workshop.

With a couple of adrenaline junkie athletes, we plan on having a portfolio building day ;)

If you are keen to join to come and meet likeminded folk and get some shots in, let me know, first one will be around Pretoria.

Would like to do a workshop. I am very very rusty. And think my wife needs it as well.

The past few months were very hard on us and getting out would do us a world of great

Same, with me and the wife. We havent done scenic pics in years. But def go for it, do other sports as well, cricket, rugby etc. Club sides where the players dont really get pics. My cousin coach's a rugby team and takes the camera with to games. He gets hounded all the time for pics from the other teams.

This sounds like an idea and a half.

Just need to get the ability to run back again [emoji3]

Went out the past weekend to CowHouse to get a bit of footage from the race and a few photo’s.

Bad idea. Wife took her time as she saw that the race starts at 08h00. So we missed the start of the race.

Got a little bit of footage with the drone, but after the 40 km start I was drained.

My wife shot away with the camera and after ignoring the battery low warning from the drone, I had to play fetch after the drone auto landed in one of the fields.

So I missed most of the shots I was working at.

So this morning took the camera out to see the pictures my wife took.... disaster. She decided that the front of the cyclists are boring and shot every photo of the ass side of the cyclists. I was focused on the drone and did not see what she was doing. But who wants a photo of your ass and not your face.

Still have to pull the footage from the drone, but just came back from the hospital. So have to eat something and see how far I can get...
