Momsen AL529 vs Signal Pro or Elite

I've upgraded myself to a slightly above average intermediate rider and wanting to take on the longer marathon riders.

 

My budget is around R20000-R25000 and I prefer a hardtail.

 

Any feedback regarding the two bikes I mentioned would be appreciated.

or you can get a second hand carbon HT at that price.

For 25k you can actually get a new carbon hardtail, with decent spec.

I'm gonna throw the cat amongst the pigeons and suggest a silverback Slade trail. Still a hardtail so you get that efficiency, but with better and more confidence inspiring geo than the majority of hardtails as well as a much better and longer travel fork at the front. Something you can use everywhere and won't leave you feeling wanting more.
