Cycling in Malawi

Would be interested to find out if anyone has been cycling in Malawi and perhaps has a few trails to share. I will be in Malawi near the lake in December for 12 days and would like to take my bike with and cycle if it is available.

 

I will be staying near Chintheche on the northern lake shore. I have done some googling and the lodges around the area seem to offer mountain biking as an option but looking on heatmaps there are no real trails to be seen.

 

Anybody know anybody or have any gpx files or info they can share would be great.
